Paint.net v3.01 released
Paint.NET is free image editing and photo manipulation software designed to be used on computers that run Windows. It supports layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools.
It started development as an undergraduate college senior design project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally worked on it. Originally intended as a free replacement for the MS Paint software that comes with Windows, it has grown into a powerful yet simple tool for photo and image editing.
The programming language used to create Paint.NET is C#, with a small amount of C++ for installation and shell-integration related functionality.
AltDesk v1.8 released
AltDesk is Virtual Desktop Manager for Windows, which makes your daily work easier.
Modern computers' power is enough to let you run numerous applications at the same time. You can surf the Internet, listen to the music and chat with your friends at once, but the more tasks you launch, the harder it becomes to manage them. That's when you might start thinking of getting the second monitor. AltDesk gives you a better choice. It creates several Virtual Desktops you can easily switch. Switching from an office application to your favorite Internet browser can be done in a blink of an eye without maximizing and minimizing numerous windows manually or switching them with the Taskbar. With AltDesk you can create as many Virtual Desktops as you want and switch them with ease. You don't even need to remember, where you've put a certain application's window as its icon is displayed by AltDesk. You can also easily swap tasks between Desktops, using Drag and Drop.

Thanks for all your hard work SK!
I would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to Shawn a.k.a. SK for all the time and effort he made in getting the new Skinning.net site to what you see here now. You did a fantastic job SK and I (we) really appreciate it.
Welcome to the launch day of our beloved site
Skinning.net has been around for a very long time and yes we have had re-launches and site changes and updates and all of that before but, this is completely different from all of those. Today starts a new dawn for Skinning.net as we are changing our direction. We still have all the great things from the past yet we have added a new aspect.
Skinning.net is ushering in a new era where we want to give you and the skinning community as much support as we possibly can. To inform you of new places, programs, skinners and anything else we can come across that deals with skinning. We offer community sites the chance to let you know what they are doing at their place. A place for skinners to upload and/or tell you where their site and other skins are located at. Even a platform for all programmers and those who represent programs to tell you about their skinnable or skin creation news. To help these things along there are special forums and user classes available that we think can push all of this forward at a fantastic rate.
All that needs to be done now is your support and to utilize this opportunity to its fullest extent. Skinning.net wants to be, "Your Network to the World of Skinning."
